I just looked up...

...and this is what I saw!  She took her diaper off.  Any suggestions on how to nip this new little discovery in the bud are very welcome.  Right now I'm thinking duct tape.

And, no, that's not poop.  But for a moment I thought it was and I almost threw up.

Storms = Forts

Since this week was way too cold and icy for comfort, Laila and I stayed inside and built our first fort.  I pretty much LOVE that she is old enough to appreciate the excitement of a blanket fort, and that I have a socially acceptable reason to stay inside and enjoy it too.

Savannah, GA...

While the three of us were indeed invigorated by all of the Inauguration hype, we opted to take advantage of a five day weekend, escape the chaos and retreat to the South- Savannah, GA.

It was wonderful.
